MINDFUL YOGA

Asanas that emphasize balancing moves with mindfulness using gentle breath. Blocks and straps incorporated to target core strength.

VINYASA FLOW

Coordinated movement with breath to flow from one pose to the next, each movement is synchronized to a breath so there is a dynamic flow from one posture to the next.

POWER VINYASA FLOW

A rigourous and fluid vinyasa based class. The class will take you through a flow of athletic, dynamic and playful series of postures blending great energy, music and a fun powerful flow.

POWER YOGA

Postures linked with breath to enhance core strengthening, flexibility and endurance with an emphasis on awareness and breath.

FOUNDATIONS/NATURAL & RESTORATIVE MOVEMENT

A class for everyone combining foundational yoga poses and natural movement with an emphasis on bringing you back to optimal alignment. Alignment (unlike posture) is not about you how you look but about how you move. Forcing yourself into an ideal looking posture may not be ideal for your body. Emphasis on refining self awareness to regain stability and mobility.

DEEP STRETCH

A therapeutic stretching class with a focus on alignment awareness and body connection. Slow down and nourish your body and mind to prepare for the week ahead.

PRE NATAL YOGA

Classes focus on receiving fatigue and tension, gaining energy and vitality, keeping the body flexible, building strength and improving the ability to relax and to concentrate. An opportunity to connect and breathe with your baby, to enhance the experience of pregnancy and prepare for labor.

POST NATAL YOGA

A restorative and mindful practice that focuses on common post pregnancy issues (weakened pelvic floor an core) and incorporates the baby to promote bonding. Classes include heart/shoulder openers & strength building poses.

SIVANANDA

A form of Hatha yoga involving specific asanas, proper breathing, proper relaxation and diet, all with proper positive thinking.

YOGA FOR BACKS

Using Critical Alignment Therapy (a process through passive to active movement) to begin to release tension and strain (caused by injury or stress) that we hold in our movement muscles. Bringing awareness with breath to our postural muscles and bringing lightness and ease into our practice, movements and lives. A logical and effective way of working with back/shoulder, neck pain or poor movement patterns. Ideal for repetitive strain injures, lower back pain, postural pain and as a way to improve sports performance. 6 week course or private classes.

MINDFUL HATHA YOGA

A gentle sequence of asanas (postures), hatha yoga style, with an emphasis on being in the present moment. Deep stretch, concentration, meditation and extended relaxation to renew your energy and strengthen your inner connection. All levels yoga.

MINDFUL LAUGHING YOGA

A gentle sequence of asanas (postures), hatha yoga style, with an emphasis on being in the present moment. Deep stretch, concentration and meditation ending with a few minutes of compulsive joyful laughter. Perfect to renew and regenerate your energy. All levels yoga.

AERO YOGA BASICS

This class is suitable for beginners. The yoga hammock is similar to a swing and it will be used to support the weight of the body. Part of the body will be touching the floor most of the time. No certain level of strength, flexibility, or prior yoga knowledge is needed. We begin where we are. All positions will be explained in detail. Wear comfortable clothes and socks. Class size is 5 people, so reserve your space ahead of time! For the experienced practitioner, advanced and specialized classes are available privately or in small groups upon request.
